A Talisman, simply put, is an object that is believed to have magical powers... whether you believe in crystals having magical powers or not is one we might debate for hours. However, talismans have been part of human civilisation for millennia. The ancient Egyptians used to place crystal and metal talismans in amongst the wrapping of the mummy to help protect the soul on its way to the afterlife.
