Winter is often seen as a season for retreat – a time to draw our seats up close to the hearth and wait for spring. But what if the cold months hold their own magic?

Liminal spaces have long been the domain of the fae, but thin places can also present an opportunity for reflection and expansion.  In an age of chronic busyness, when it can feel that every second of our life is ‘staked out’ by our responsibilities – from work to family life to study time – and the constant pursuit of covering the cost of just existing in today’s world, how do we carve out quiet space, so that we can really listen to our inner voice?
