Love Magic for Beltane – Workshop

Beltane is the pagan feast of love and pleasure, kept alive down the centuries as May Day.

In this online workshop, Rebecca Beattie explores how to harness the passionate, playful energies of the season. Seen as an auspicious time to cast spells of love and good fortune, the veil is also said to be particularly thin at Beltane (with visions of fairies possible). Delving into history, folklore and witchcraft practices, the group discusses the traditions of May, and examines their context within the wider Wheel of the Year. Rebecca then provides a host of tools to celebrate this most joyful of sabbats. The practical segment of the workshop will include an apple spell of love, and a group ritual to Beltane.
