Throughout history, practitioners of magic have looked to the pre-modern occult planets for inspiration and aid.
In this on Witchtok and #witchesofinstagram often hint that witchcraft must be pretty in order to be effective. However, living a truly magical life goes far beyond an aesthetic.
In this class, Rebecca Beattie examines the practical details of living life as a witch, allowing students to consider them before committing to the path. Rebecca also outlines the various ways to practise, from joining an established tradition (such as Wicca) to going solo. Expect to explore core principles such as cultivating an enchanted worldview, developing a relationship to nature and dedicating oneself to particular gods. Students also learn the differences between group and solitary ritual, and what kind of ethics a witch might develop.
