Igniting Creativity at Imbolc – Workshop

Imbolc, falling on the evening of 1 February, is the Celtic festival of the fire goddess Brigid, taking place close to the old Christian Candlemas, feast of lights.

In this online workshop, Rebecca Beattie explores how to harness the illuminating qualities of these days to kickstart creativity. Delving into history, folklore and witchcraft practices, the group discusses the traditions of both Imbolc and Candlemas, and examines their context within the wider Wheel of the Year. Rebecca then provides a host of tools to meaningfully celebrate the season and re-connect to the fire of personal creativity. The practical section of the workshop will include a scrying session to connect with the unconscious mind, and a group ritual to Imbolc.
